Ken Griffey Jr Retires, Enters HOF

Ken Grifey Jr has finally retired. And of course has entered the Hall of Fame. We all knew that Jr would enter the hall and knew it was just a matter of time.As you see the time has come.Griffey finished with a total of 582 homeruns and 1703 RBI and carried a lifetime batting average of .291.He finished with 2547 career hits,1564 runs scored and 1160 base on balls.Griffey had this to say about his entry into the Hall of Fame. " Its a great thing to achieve.My family,especially my dad, were there for the whole ride.Even when I was down with injuries they never gave up,and neither did I and I would like to thank them for that.Im not through with baseball though. I would like to manage a team someday."
